our little pocket of time and space

the two of us have our share
my life yours and your life mine
twin candleflames dancing in a sea
dark and chaotic
however the waves come rushing in

whether one fire or t'other dims
our little pocket of time and space remains
alit with love and life and a creative spark
that will never go away
